What are the benefits of hardening stainless steel?
Hardening of stainless steel is the process of restructuring the properties of carbon in the workpiece for hardness and abrasion resistance. By undergoing heat treatment, annealing and abrupt cooling to give the hardened material its internal and external hardening properties, stainless steel hardening is an essential component of the austenitic industry.
Compared to other hardening processes heat-hardening of stainless steel does not deform the workpiece and its chemical composition remains unchanged. On the other hand, it will change the internal microstructure and surface of the piece to be more efficient.
The real benefit is to increase the strength of the work piece. Give the workpiece the desired chemical and physical properties.
